Opening day is filled with promise and anticipation of the season to come. Closing day? Closing day is for celebrating. By closing day, the mountain is covered, your legs are in shape, and your bases are shot, so why not just go for it? In short, closing day rocks! So why have only one. Below are the projected 2013 closing dates for all of Utah's resorts. As usual, the last two resorts to close will be Alta (April 28) and Snowbird (May 27). The weather folks are predicting a wet and cold April Utah’s resorts, so you better buy that Snowbird spring pass.

Anticipated Closing April 14, 2013. Don’t miss their final free-at-3p après concert on the Plaza Saturday, April 6, featuring The Pour Horse, a Salt Lake based quartet that produces a mixture of rock, funk and blues with a little bit of a jam band-esque feel.

Anticipated Closing April 7, 2013. Will open for summer operations April 18. With a 30-inch base, it won’t take long for Sundance’s singletrack to dry off.



Anticipated Closing Day is April 14, 2013, then Fri-Sun. through April 28. No uphill traffic until May.



Night skiing ends April 6. Anticipated Closing April 21, 2013. Take advantage of Brighton’s Tax Day Relief promotion, April 15. Lift tickets $20!



Anticipated Closing Memorial Day Weekend (May 27), 2013. The Snowbird Spring Pass offers unlimited skiing for $329 for the rest of the season.



Anticipated Closing April 14, 2013, Lift tickets are $49 ($19 for juniors) until close; free if you stay at one of Solitude’s lodging properties.
