Vans President Kevin Bailey announced today that it has promoted Henry Cosio, currently Vans Director of Sales for the Lifestyle channel who has been with the company for nearly 20 years, to Vice President Sales, U.S. Wholesale.

According to the release: Cosio will be responsible for leading the strategic direction and customer relations for our wholesale business including Vans footwear, apparel and snow products across all channels as well as sales and customer relations for the Pro-tec business. The sales unit had previously been led by Jeff Moore, who is now president of Reef.

"Henry has been a key contributor to our rapid sales growth within our Lifestyle and Vault channels," said Bailey. "We'll look to Henry to continue to drive Vans' strategic initiatives through U.S. Wholesale channels as we work to continue the momentum the Vans brand currently enjoys."

Cosio has more than 25 years of experience in footwear sales. He began his career with Vans in 1991 as an independent sales representative and eventually oversaw Vans sales across Core, Lifestyle and Family distribution channels in Southern California from 1995 through 2001. Cosio was then hired as a Vans Key Account Manager in 2001. Cosio was promoted to Sales Director for our Lifestyle and Vault channel in 2008.
