Valor Collective, a new collection by industry veteran Ryan Rush, will premier at the SLATE trade show in Las Vegas today. Rush formerly worked as men's designer for surf and youth lifestyle brand O'Neill, and also served as creative director for Ezekiel and founded Drawls & Dawls Clothing in the 90s.

The inaugural Valor Collective line will hit retail in Fall 2012, and retailers and media will have a chance to preview the collection during the SLATE show. The line —a relaxed California vibe meets the structure of city chic—includes men's sportswear knits, wovens, walk shorts, boardshorts, fleece, and outerwear.

"Valor’s Fall 2012 collection incorporates subtle colors and design elements, featuring engineered fabrications, color blocking, fabric mixing, unique closures and jacquard fabrications, complimented in shades of grey, black, blue and red.  Key items include a faux leather hooded jacket, colorblocked anorack, varsity jacket, hooded woven tops, and engineered stripes in every silhouette.  Retail prices range from $24.95-89.95. Valor collective will be launched in a selective distribution of influential youth specialty and department stores, in addition to the brand’s Web site."According to the Press Release from Valor Collective

“It’s extremely exciting to introduce this first Valor collection after months and months of planning and perfecting all the elements involved in launching an apparel brand,” said designer and founder Ryan Rush.  “I love the excitement and challenges that come with building unique apparel brands; and also saw a need to give consumers cutting edge product, while offering retailers significantly higher margins to help drive their profitability during tough economic times.”  “The Valor guy isn’t defined by age, but our vibe and designs do speak to a more mature and fashionable style sense,” Rush added.  “VALOR brings a new angle to the current men’s fashion space and I’m extremely confident the fashion, fabrications and prices offered will be a winning combination for both consumers and retailers.” For Ryan Rush this collection should be another great success and a very exciting future for Valor.
