Oceanside, CA – September 2, 2008 – Transworld Media, a division of Bonnier Corporation, is pleased to announce that Mike Lyons has been promoted to Director of Marketing. Lyons previously served as the Manager for Transworld's wheels titles: Motocross, RideBMX, and QUAD Off Road.
Lyons began his tenure at Transworld Media in 2004 as Senior Consumer Marketing Manager. In 2005, his action sports roots and love for all things motocross helped him get promoted to manager of Transworld Motocross, Transworld RideBMX and the newly formed QUAD Off-Road. Prior to joining Transworld, Lyons spent 15 years working in lifestyle and action sports marketing with stints at both agencies and branding companies.
"Transworld is in the process of a huge growth spurt and I'm excited to develop the marketing department's event properties and brand initiatives as a part of the company's overall growth," said Lyons. "Our goal is to create a triangle offense of sorts, in which, each member of the department's events, consumer marketing and partnership teams can effectively support the others to create a smooth running and ultimately winning team."

In response to Lyons' promotion, Transworld Marketing's Project Manager, Holli Koriath, has been bumped-up to his former post of Marketing Manager for Transworld's wheels titles. "Holli was in a supporting role before, but has consistently taken on more and more responsibility with great results," said Lyons. "Now, having all three titles to handle, Holli can really shine in her execution of all aspects of their marketing and events."
