A Conversation with Anna Yeager, Creative Director and Lead Theatrical Marketing Producer, Herzog & Company As an award-winning film marketer, Anna Yeager brings myriad experiences building and executing marketing plans for major motion pictures, from The Help and Pirates of the Caribbean to this summer’s highly anticipated The Lone Ranger and Monsters University. Launching such high visibility projects with virtually 48 hours to succeed or fail, Yeager has seen the good, bad and ugly of pressure-cooker marketing, from creative assets and media buying to social media tools and viral content. Having to build marketing strategies from the ground up, with so many proverbial chefs in the kitchen, Yeager has been able to thrive in making studios and stars happy, films that shouldn’t do well succeed, and is the first person Pixar, Disney, and DreamWorks call when they have a major film to market. Yeager will share her invaluable insight into what makes successful film marketing so, as well as applying her knowledge and key learnings for action sports marketers to apply every day. This SIMA Boot Camp is a cannot-miss for any serious marketer.

Deadline: Friday, April 19, 2013

Cost: $45 per person for SIMA members/retailers and $75 per person for non-SIMA members. Cost includes light appetizers, beer and wine, and the educational seminar. Space is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis with priority given to SIMA members.

This event will launch the new "P.M." formatting for some of SIMA's Boot Camps. For the past five years SIMA Boot Camps have been half-day events starting in the mornings and featuring several speakers or panel discussions. For 2013 members will be offered a few of these traditional half-day events, and also a new "Boot Camp P.M." format. The goal of Boot Camp P.M. is to offer members the same valuable educational platform, but in a more relaxed environment to also emphasize the importance of industry networking time. Boot Camp P.M.s will also be offered at significantly lower prices than the traditional half-day events to encourage member companies to send an even more diverse employee base to Boot Camps.
