In August 2010, Quiksilver launched a program for wetsuits, watches, and eyewear to increase speed-to-market as well as beef up customer service with its core accounts. The brand purchased and outfitted a specially designed van that drives up and down the coast in Southern California and offers retailers count-and-fill service on key items.

The van was received so well in SoCal that Quiksilver decided to launch another one in Florida, and so far that program has been a success as well. All in all, here’s a quick look at how the program works, and why retailers appreciate the added support from Quiksilver.
