In January, Quiksilver’s parent company Boardriders Inc. announced it would acquire longtime competitor Billabong, to join forces in the surf and action sports apparel world. Although the future of what this means for both companies isn’t yet clear, today’s real estate listing of Quiksilver’s national headquarters in Torquay, Victoria, Australia could be a sign of what’s to come.

The 70,000+ square foot office space, located just blocks from the beach and nearby the famed SurfCity Plaza, has been listed as “For Sale – Expression of Interest” through Thursday, August 23. While a list price hasn’t been disclosed, reports from earlier this month from Quiksilver indicate the company will relocate its national headquarters to Burleigh Heads, Queensland, more than 1,100 miles to the north.
