Earlier today, Poler Inc. filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy. It’s unclear what led to the filing but according to Portland Business Journal, the company’s attorney said it’s possible that a buyer could purchase the company and restart the brand.

Their website hints that the brand may stick around: “We’ve sold out of Poler stuff for 2018. See you down the road for more camp vibes and high fives in 2019,” it states.

However, Poler has reportedly emptied their corporate offices and closed its stores – which are located in Laguna Beach and Portland.

Poler generated $7.7 million in revenue in 2016, $7.2 million in 2017 and only $3.6 million in 2018. The exact reason for bankruptcy has not been disclosed.
