Taking table-tennis to the next level, Skullcandy invaded the TransWorld Skate park with it’s Doubles Up Ping Pong Invitational. Thirty two teams competed in a single-elimination bracket, battling it out for some serious first-place swag; $2,500 cash, a custom trophy, a snowboarding package from Analog, Skullcandy headphones and accessories, and Stance socks. Skullcandy snowboard team riders Kimmy Fasani, Eero Ettala, Stevie Bell, Aaron Biitner, Bode Merrill, and Matt Ladley came out with paddles blazing, taking on the likes of skate team rider Theotis Beasley, and surf team member Dylan Graves. With the Peligroso tequila flowing, and an ice cream truck parked out back, the crowd--rolling about 200 people deep--cheered on the ping pong madness, eventually witnessing the glorious victory of Cheyne and Tony Magnusson.
