The company has created a capsule collection, featuring T-shirts ($38) and water bottles ($30) with a creative play on words. All proceeds from capsule sales will be donated to Everytown.org, according to Outerknown CEO Mark Walker.
“At Outerknown, our stance from the beginning has been ‘For People and Planet,’ meaning we make every decision with the highest regard for the people that build our clothes and the world we call home,” Walker told TransWorld Business. “Gun violence has the potential to affect anyone and everyone, and our commitment to keeping people safe remains a top priority for us.”
In addition, Outerknown has donated 50 T-shirts and 500 water bottles to The Concert For Our Lives, taking place Saturday, March 24, in Maui, with performers including Willie Nelson and Jack Johnson.
“We are for common sense gun laws and for protecting people so we are putting our support into the efforts for change that Everytown is leading,” Walker says. “Change for laws that will ensure proper screening, training and usage for anyone who is entrusted to handle a gun.”
The full collection of T-shirts and water bottles are available to purchase at www.Outerknown.com.
