Octagon Marketing Group, a global sports and entertainment agency, announced the acquisition of Australian surf management company Revolver Athlete Management. Revolver Founder Matt Syms has joined the Octagon crew effective immediately, bringing with him Australian surfers Bede Durbidge, Ry Craike and Mitch Coleborn. Here’s the details:

Matt Syms, Founder of Revolver, joins the agency effective immediately, bringing with him leading Australian surfers including 2009 ASP World #3 Bede Durbidge, world renowned free-surfer Ry Craike, and 2007 Australasian Pro Junior Series Champion Mitch Coleborn among others.

Syms has more than a dozen years of experience in the surf industry including manufacturing, sales and management business and has built a highly successful athlete management practice for surfers. Syms brings with him an impressive roster of the next generation of Australian surfers including Durbidge, Craike, Coleborn, Jay Davies, Garrett Parkes, Brent Dorrington and Jack Robinson. He will continue to operate out of his Yallingup, Western Australia base , whilst also spending time in the company`s Sydney and Melbourne offices.
