Boulder, CO (October 24, 2011) Leisure Trends Group (LTG) is pleased to announce the addition of Scott Buelter as Vice President of its Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) Division. “We are very excited that Scott chose to join our CRM team”, says Joy Spring, Vice Chairman of LTG “we have a strong platform and Scott is a dynamic, knowledgeable expert that will help us reach the significant growth goals we have for this division.”

Most recently, Buelter was the Sr. Director of the Interactive Marketing Capability at Merkle, a leading Customer Relationship Marketing firm where he developed and led customer marketing strategy, initiatives and functions for over 15 years. At Merkle, Buelter provided his CRM expertise assisting companies such as Nike, Disney, Royal Caribbean, Tommy Hilfiger, DIRECTV, Loews Hotels, TGI Friday, as well as other Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to working at Merkle, Buelter worked at Altegrity (formerly HireRight) running a successful business and growing it by almost 300% before the company went public in 2007. Buelter was also Director of Marketing at Experian in its Database Services group helping clients including American Express, Bank One and JP Morgan successfully manage customer risk.
Buelter joined Leisure Trends in part to combine his passion for the outdoors with a desire to help great companies achieve successful CRM programs. In his free time, Scott spends as much time as he can in and around the Rocky Mountains. He enjoys skiing, hiking and fishing with his family.
Buelter received an MBA from the University of California, Irvine and a BS in Economics from the University of San Diego. Scott has also studied at the London School of Economics and the University of Vienna.
