La Jolla Group

The La Jolla Group has hired Vicki Redding as the senior vice president of design and merchandising, a newly created position in which Redding will oversee all six of La Jolla Group’s brands including O’Neill, …Lost, Metal Mulisha, Rusty, True Love & False Idols and In God’s Hands.

Redding comes to La Jolla Group with 25 years of experience in the youth lifestyle apparel industry, including seventeen years at Quiksilver in various senior and executive roles.  Following her tenure at Quiksilver, she spent two years at DC Shoes as Senior Vice President of Global Merchandise and Design; and most recently, held a Vice President of Apparel, Merchandise, Design and Sourcing position at One Industries.  Through these various roles, Redding has gained valuable sportswear merchandising and retailing experience, including brand conception, design, sourcing and production for both national and international markets.

"We decided to create this new SVP position to continue fueling the growth within our organization, while allowing for more efficiency and collaboration across our brand roster," said La Jolla Group CEO, Toby Bost.  "For this executive role, we wanted someone who had significant experience in both disciplines of design and merchandising in our industry.  We are thrilled to have Vicki on board to help our company operate even more effectively as we look towards next year and beyond."

"I am excited for the opportunity to be part of La Jolla Group," added Redding.  "I look forward to working across all teams and developing strategic growth opportunities within their multi-brand business."

Redding will be based out of the company's headquarters in Irvine, Calif., and will report to Toby Bost and La Jolla Group President, Bill Bussiere.
