VINCE DIMELLA JOINS HOUSE OF MARLEY AS DIRECTOR OF SALES, LIFESTYLE/ASR
San Diego, CA and Commerce Township, MI — September 11, 2013 — House of Marley, a collection of premium, Earth-friendly personal audio and accessory products, today announced that Vince DiMella has joined the company as Director of Sales, Lifestyle/ASR, based in the company's new San Diego office. He will report to Sam Vanderveer, Senior Vice President and General Manager, House of Marley.
In his new role, Vince will be responsible for leading the House of Marley's sales efforts across the lifestyle channel with an emphasis on action sports (surf, skate, snow) and streetwear retailers. In addition to sales, he'll work closely with Jeff Baldwin, Brand Marketing Manager, Lifestyle, to develop and execute retailer- and category-specific promotional partnerships and events to drive brand awareness and engage both industry leaders and consumers. Vince leads a team of 15 sales representatives dedicated to the lifestyle channel for House of Marley.
Vince joins House of Marley with more than 20 years of international and domestic sales and brand building experience having worked with an array of highly respected and successful footwear, apparel and consumer lifestyle brands. Prior to House of Marley, Vince worked for nearly three years in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for Powder Design and Private Label as Sales Director, Design Manager and Product Developer. He worked directly with owners and designers of some of Brazil's best action sports and lifestyle brands, including Osklen, Redley, OnBongo and Mormai. He also worked with Diesel Jeans and Footwear Distributors in the Brazilian market.

Before moving to Rio, Vince worked in various sales director roles and consultant positions for established and upstart brands such as Convoy Apparel, Genetic/Airwalk Footwear, Duffs Footwear and Pure Juice Footwear.

A full scholarship NCAA athlete and fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, Vince received his B.A. in International Business from Mercyhurst University. He lives in Solana Beach, CA.
