Help Wanted: Association Of Surfing Professionals Looking For Finance Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform month-end general ledger close procedures for all domestic and foreign entities.

Review, analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.

Reconcile bank accounts.

Analyze account balances, draft variance explanations and produce monthly financial statements for all entities.

Ensure compliance with foreign, local, state, and federal reporting requirements;

Prepare the month end Management reports for all domestic and foreign entities.

Function as liaison with company's tax and audit accountants for tax return preparation and annual audit.

Oversee the accounts payable & accounts receivable functions

Participate in a financial system migration and conversion from QuickBooks to a new accounting system

Serve as administrator of the company's account new cloud-based integrated financial/ ERP software suite.

Identify general process improvements and assist with the creation and maintenance of process documentation.

Job Requirements



B.S. in Accounting

CPA preferred

Strong accounting skills, understanding of accounting theory and knowledge of accounting procedures and internal controls

Strong taxation background

Experience in project accounting – multiple simultaneous projects

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented and highly organized

Experience with accounting for both domestic and foreign operations

QuickBooks and/or NetSuite experience is preferred

Advanced Excel skills

Experience with computer system implementations and conversions is preferred

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

Ability to work extended hours on time-sensitive projects and during accounting close
