G-Shock and UK streetwear label maharishi have released the The GA110HM-7A graphic black and white "Bambazzle" patterned watch, their first collaboration. The design was inspired by the dazzle paint scheme used on Navy battleships to confuse German torpedo operators during WWI.
"The collaboration with G-Shock came about as both brands possess similar values," said Hardy Blechman, Head Designer of maharishi. "Maharishi is still a small independent company, without holding the G-Shock ethos of never giving up, we would have never survived. G-Shock is the toughest of watches and prides itself on being tough, durable and long-lasting, similar to the maharishi brand which has gained respect for not conforming to fashion mainstreams."
