Erik Logan will join the World Surf League (WSL) in January 2019 as their president of content, media and WSL studios.

Logan is a waterman with a plethora of media experience. He’s served on the board of directors of USA Surfing, the national governing body for the United States Olympic Committee, is co-founder of Shred & Speed (international distributor of Infinity Surf) and is co-owner of Nikau Kai Surf Shop in Manhattan Beach, California.

Logan is currently president of Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). Previously he served as executive vice president of programming and operations for XM Satellite Radio, where he managed day-to-day relationships with Major League Baseball, Professional Golf Association, CNN, Clear Channel Communications and Fox News.

Prior to joining XM Radio, Logan served as president of programming for Citadel Broadcasting and CBS/Infinity Broadcasting.
