Caro Marketing, a Los Angeles-based fashion marketing and public relations agency, announces its third annual fashion networking and showcase event, Simply Stylist. Simply Stylist, the first private “Pop-up PR Showroom” to showcase designers to today’s leading fashion industry stylists, celebrities and media, will be held on October 14th and 15th, 2009 at Siren Orange Studios located in Los Angeles’ media district. Simply Stylist features the best of emerging and established brands from all over the world and invites Hollywood’s finest style cultivators to preview the upcoming collections. For the stylist, Simply Stylist is an opportunity to discover new style trends and receive full service beauty and spa treatments.

The fashion industry continues to re-invent and discover unique ways to reach its customers.  Caro Marketing created the Simply Stylist experience in 2005 to honor the behind-the-scenes stylists who set fashion trends that eventually find their way to the top fashion retailers. Driven to seek alternative PR strategies, fashion brands embrace Simply Stylist because it provides them with direct access to a wide variety of coveted industry contacts and Hollywood stars. Caro Marketing President, Caroline Rothwell says, “Simply Stylist is an immeasurable cost-benefit value for those seeking to personally connect to the inside fashion track, secure new business relationships, and gain valuable press coverage in Los Angeles.”

Since launching TOMS Shoes in 2005, Caro Marketing has been a supporter of the brand’s humanitarian efforts, global influence, and fashion innovation.  For 2009, Caro Marketing has chosen TOMS Shoes to be the title charity sponsor for Simply Stylist. TOMS shoes will showcase the 2010 collection and guests will have the opportunity to create custom shoes. Proceeds will go to children in impoverished areas across the globe.

TheLookBook.com, fashion’s leading online database, is Simply Stylist’s co-host.  Founded by PR veteran Kristen Calavas and past InStyle editor Rhonda Richford, offers a cutting edge website that includes a comprehensive list of over 3,000 current fashion and accessory PR contacts and updated stylist agency information. TheLookBook.com Blog will feature onsite trends from the Simply Stylist event.  Calavas says, “Online media and star power are vital to promoting fashion today, and this has given increased leverage to those of us working in fashion in Los Angeles.”

Simply Stylist brings fashion, celebrity, and charity together in a “Pop-up PR Showroom” experience for what is anticipated to be the biggest Simply Stylist event to date.  In honor of the most revered trend-setting stylists of 2009 whose clients include Nicole Richie, Cameron Diaz, Rihanna, and Blake Lively among others, will be in attendance.
