Capsule Show Los Angeles is a collection of emerging fashion trends, beauty finds, and lifestyle products. TransWorld Business headed up to California Market Center in DTLA to check out all the newest trends in the women’s market, and the key brands that caught our eye.

In addition to moving Capsule to LA for the first time, the show has also launched an LA-based pop-up shop, Capsule Beach, featuring several notable brands in the surf space worth  browsing.

One interesting aspect of Capsule is Axis, a segment within the show that highlights action sports, lifestyle, and athleisure brands. Many of the offerings that caught our eye were positioned within Axis.

Tavik's The Emmy one piece

Tavik's The Moss

Pura Vida

Some new product offerings from Pura Vida including bags, minimal rings, and chokers.

The rings and chokers were highlight pieces for Pura Vida at the show.

Cami and Jax

Emerging brand Cami And Jax, founded by sisters Jackie Brady and former pro surfer Camille Brady, focuses on the “power suits” of swimwear- statement pieces that can make any woman feel confident.

Taking inspiration from the 80s and 90s, Cami And Jax have several suits that are reminiscent of the Bay Watch era, with high cut sides, low cut backs and intricate detailing that make the suits unique.

Nux activewear has a compression technology that actually helps with performance. Triple T Stretch pulls moisture away from skin, and the more washes the pant goes through, the softer it gets.

Over at Rhythm, this sporty top with a scoop neck styling is one of the brand’s number one sellers.

One of Rhythm’s most popular patterns is the blossom print, seen here in the bralette silhouette.

These bags, which really caught our eye, are made of leather and vinyl.

Rootfoot, based and made out of Boulder, Colorado, have introduce a new line of infuser oils.

They also offer a collection of these handmade bags, which have been picked up by Free People.

Crap Eyewear

Crap Eyewear had an eye-catching display that stopped us in our tracks.

I AM IMMORDL was serving their coffee elixir on tap, a combination of organic non-acidic coffee infused with super food ingredients like cacao, vanilla bean, dark chocolate and coconut oil to name a few.

Gravel & Gold

Gravel & Gold was showing off this…well, fun, take on bags.

Happy Spritz

We loved the vibe from San Diego based company Happy Spritz. Their mantra is to make essential oils more approachable and simplified for those who may find them intimidating and overwhelming. Job well done, crew!

Boy Smells

The concept behind Boy Smells, founded by partners Mathew Herman and David Kien, is that scents transcend gender—just think of how one perfume or cologne smells drastically different from one person to another. Herman says it was this thought that led the two to start Boy Smells.

The aesthetically appealing Boy Smells booth was attracting attention all day at the show, specifically with several of its unique scents like Ash and Kush.
