After 22 years of repping Burton Snowboards in California, Laurent Vrignaud will be moving on June 1 to pursue other opportunities. In response, Burton is splitting his territory into two regions and has named Ryan Queen the principal rep in the south and Brad Fisher in the north.
“Laurent has been a part of the Burton family for so long, and we all thank him for dedicating over two decades of his career to growing the brand and the sport,” said Jake Burton, Founder and CEO of Burton Snowboards. “Everyone here wishes him the best on his next chapter, and we look forward to a new era with our valued dealers in the territory.”
Ryan Queen, the previous Burton Utah rep and the 2010 TransWorld Business Rockies Regional Rep of the Year will be holding things down in Southern California, Arizona, Las Vegas, and Hawaii. Brad Fisher is currently a sub rep with Vrignaud and will be taking over as the principal rep in Northern California and Northern Nevada.
“Providing the best possible service for our specialty retailers is a major priority for all of us at Burton,” said Jake. “Since California is such a critical and influential market, it makes sense to split the region into two sales territories so our reps can deliver the personal service that our dealers deserve. It’s been an incredible ride with Laurent, and he’s leaving us with a very solid foundation for Ryan and Brad to build on.”
