Alterra Mountain Company has reached an agreement to acquire Crystal Mountain Resort. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2018, pending certain closing conditions, including regulatory approvals. As of now, terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.

“With the addition of Crystal Mountain Resort in Washington, we are able to expand our reach into the Pacific Northwest and offer our guests incredible experiences in the Cascade Mountains,” said Alterra Mountain Company Chief Executive Officer Rusty Gregory.

In addition to Crystal Mountain Resort, Alterra Mountain Company has made plenty of purchases this off-season – one of their biggest being Solitude Mountain Resort in Utah.

Alterra has made even more additions to the Ikon Pass, as well. Their most recent being Brighton Resort in Utah, Solitude in Utah, Taos Ski Valley in New Mexico and a plethora of resorts in the Pacific Northwest and Midwest.

Here’s the full list of Ikon Pass resorts.

Alterra Mountain Company holds ownership of the Ikon Pass. Additions to the Ikon Pass are made as part of a partnership with Alterra, but does not mean the resorts are owned by Alterra.
