Agenda Long Beach welcomes the specialized surf section of the show back for its second appearance
DECEMBER 2015 – Last season, Agenda Long Beach premiered a unique element to its diverse line-up with "The Point." After much success, the specialized surf-centric section of the show is back for the upcoming 2016 season, making its second official appearance at Agenda Long Beach.
"The Point" represents a curated selection of brands that are committed to presenting the most innovative, cutting-edge products for surf enthusiasts including apparel, accessories, footwear, hard goods etc. A notable highlight of "The Point" includes the section for shapers, one of many attributes pushing the progression of surfing technology and craftsmanship.
"Agenda is truly excited about our evolving commitment to the surf category through 'The Point', particularly the board builders who represent its creative core," said Agenda's Mike Carter. "We're honored to have Surfline as our strategic partner to help elevate this initiative. This second edition of 'The Point' is another step in Agenda's evolution to help showcase and celebrate this movement. "
Moreover, "The Point" strives to highlight and partner with pioneers that elevate and bring attention to the Agenda show interface. With all of these advancements it is only fitting that in 2016, Agenda Long Beach will continue to elevate its media platform by officially partnering with world-renowned surf authority, Surfline. Surfline.com boasts over 10 million visits per month and has a social media reach of over 1.7 million followers.
"We're excited to partner with Agenda as we close out Surfline's 30th year," said Ross Garrett, Surfline's General Manager. "Our purpose is to make surfers' lives better and the incredible shapers and brands in The Point make the amazing products that enable that same thing."
Some of the notable brands participating in "The Point" this season are Billabong, Quiksilver, …Lost, Rusty, Salty Crew, Sun Bum, Dakine, Superbrand, Brothers Marshall, Captain Fin, Brixton, Sanuk, Nixon, Globe, Hayden Shapes, Dyer Brand, Pyzel Shapes, and many more.
