The California Surf Festival cruised through Oceanside last week and left a trail of stoke in its wake. Actually, the festival was born in Oceanside, so it didn't just pass through. The brainchild of The California Surf Museum, the festival included film premieres, concerts, plenty of Hawaiian shirts, and ended with an awards show spotlighting the latest and the greatest surf flicks of 2010. The groms got in the mix too with the Big Shorts From Little Groms film contest. The groms did an amazing job showing their cinematic prowess and each film had something special, I believe it's called soul. Anyway, the week was epic, and we can't wait till next year. Don't miss it!—Chris Cote
