The much anticipated 6Star TTR event, The Oakley Arctic Challenge is coming up this weekend with what one can only expect to be one of the most progressive and creative slopestyle setups of the season. Event owner and legendery snowboarder Terje Haakonsen takes a great deal of pride in this event and aims for it to pave the way for the talent and progression that thrives in the snowboarding world each year. He is also on a mission to enforce his stance on slopestyle being included in the 2014 Sochi Olympics; another motive to make this contest the best it can possibly be.

The pool of talent that is on the rider list this year is stepping it up with contest fiends Seppe Smits, Torstein Horgmo, Mark McMorris, Ulrik Badertscher, Jamie Anderson, Kjersti Buaas, and Eric Willett. The competitors are usually big fans of the evolutionary contest along with fans and viewers who are anxious to see the level of riding that will take place.

The live webcast starts on Saturday, February 19 HERE. However, in the meantime, see what the riders are going to be hitting with Chas Guldemond as he straps on a helmet cam and takes some practice runs through the course.
