Start planning now to see Olympic qualifiers at Dew Tour Breckenridge

It's going to be four days full of top-notch snowboarding, freeskiing and parties.

As we inch closer and closer to winter, we are also getting closer and closer to the 2018 Winter Olympics. But those can’t happen until the qualifiers get underway.

And there’s none we are looking to more than the 2018 Winter Dew Tour in Breckenridge, Colorado.

Going down Dec. 14-17, the initial schedule has just been released and it’s time to start planning your trip. This is going to be your chance at seeing America’s best snowboarders and freeskiers battling it out for a chance to represent Team USA later this winter in PyeongChang.

Event qualifiers kick off on Thursday, followed by the 18th annual POWDER Awards that evening. Things get started with Snowboarding and Freeskiing Superpipe finals on Friday before transitioning to the Streetstyle contest in downtown Breckenridge that evening. And the party will really get going at the TRANSWORLD SNOWBOARDING Riders Poll Awards Friday night.

Things kick into high gear for the weekend on Saturday with the continuance of Olympic qualifiers for Slopestyle. Saturday night wraps up with the Dew Tour concert (details of which will be released soon).

Sunday is more focused on the Dew Tour specialty team events, seeing modifications to the Slopestyle and Superpipe courses for the fun-oriented wrap-up.

And of course the Dew Tour Experience will be happening Thurs-Sun with athlete autograph signings and free giveaways. Plus, the Dew Tour Apres Festival will be going down Fri-Sun in downtown Breckenridge with apres festivities, partner exhibits and live music.

If this all sounds like something up your alley, and you’d like to see Olympic qualifying go down in-person, then keep in mind that Winter Dew Tour is free to attend as a spectator. You’ll get to see your favorite freeskiers and snowboarders in pursuit of their Olympic qualifying dreams while enjoying one of the best winter festivals the snow and ski worlds have to offer (although, that doesn’t include the concert, as you must purchase tickets).

Start planning now, because you’re not going to want to miss this year’s Winter Dew Tour in Breckenridge.
