On his third and final run on a perfect day for a superpipe final, Jake Pates laid down the run of his life to unseat Scotty James at the top of the podium. A backside double 1260 tailgrab to end things off, Pates laid down and waited for the score to come in.

A 97.33 was more than enough for the 19-year-old Colorado native to not only win on the day, but move into a more competitive spot in the race for the U.S. Olympic team.

Fellow U.S. rider Ben Ferguson rounded out the podium in third place after going huge from his first to last hit. Check out Jake's winning run above and the second and third place runs below.

Scotty James 2nd Place Run: 96.00

Ben Ferguson 3rd Place Run: 92.00
