The blinding white was not just from the snow in Siberia on Saturday. More than 1,800 skiers and snowboarders sloped down one of the runs at Mount Zelyonaya’s Sheregesh resort in nothing but swimwear. Why, you ask? According to Transworld Snowboarding, it was all in the name of setting a new Guinness World Record for world’s largest downhill ride in swimsuits.

Yes, that’s a real record and it previously rested at 500 participants set in 2013 by the same organizers. This year saw 1,835 people from more than 54 countries, towns and villages. So clearly, the bare bar has been raised.
