Sometimes progress can come with a price tag. Rosa Khutor Ski Resort in Estosadok, Russia recently found that out.

The crew at TRANSWORLD SNOWBOARDING received a video of the resort’s progression airbag (those giant landing bags that freestyle parks use to let riders practice difficult tricks with minimized risk) running wild at the resort.

TRANSWORLD SNOWBOARDING reports that it does not appear that anyone was injured. The resort, which is just a few miles inland from Sochi, certainly got lucky that it ran itself into a big hill.

Sort of reminds us of the classic horror film “The Blob.”
