This monster storm had already dropped about 5-7 feet of snow when Bernard Rosow and I made the call to head to June Mountain. We heard from the team at June that they were going to open The Face after some extensive patrol work and once we pulled into the parking lot, we realized we were going to get it good.

Only J1 and J2 were running but everyone that was there scored lap after lap of waist-deep snow – it was definitely one of the deepest days of the season and no one skied it better that day than Bernie.
