Yesterday, Skier Lindsey Vonn was injured during a crash on the race course in Andorra.
She was carried off the course on a sled and suffered a hair line fracture in her left knee.
Less than 24 hours later, Vonn was not only competing again, but she also won the Super G, bringing her closer to another World Title.
“Yesterday, I thought I wouldn’t be able to ski today but there was a small chance and I believed in it,” Vonn told the Los Angeles Times. With this mindset, a lot is possible. I am a fighter. Many think it's just drama, but that's nonsense. I have pain but I can fight. I always give everything.

She took to Twitter to give a shoutout to her fans.

She had to wear two knee braces during the run for her recent injury and for a knee injury dating back two years.
She also competed in the slalom race, where she finished 23rd.
Draining her knee of excess fluids allowed her to race today.
There is a fracture in her tibial plateau and she plans to meet with her trainers to figure out a plan.
