Move over Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn, there’s a new sports power couple in town, and they both like to slide downhill fast. True, Cody Townsend and Elyse Saugstad have been married longer than Woods and Vonn have been dating, but we’ll call their recent video release, dubbed “It’s Called ‘Backcountry Skiing,'” an official coming out party.

After all, with Townsend fresh off a Powder Award Best Male Performance win and viral video explosion for his jaw-dropping line in the new Matchstick Productions film “Days of My Youth,” and Saugstad voted one of ESPN’s Top 50 Women in Action Sports, their stock has never been higher.

The couple put that stock on full display in the above video, giving us a cheeky, albeit action-packed edit from their time in the backcountry last season. From technical ski descents to massive cliff drops, the pair redefines couples retreat in the most extreme way possible and has a laugh or two along the way. While we are all busy keeping up with the Joneses, it looks like the Joneses are busy keeping up with Townsend and Saugstad.
