This recently released short skateboard film resembles an art project with its frames printed out on more than 3,500 individual pieces of paper. “Paper Cut London” was undertaken by Philip Evans featuring skateboarders Jak Pietryga and Chris Jones skating through London.
Evans printed the frames out on individual pieces of paper and then either scanned the paper or photographed them. He explained it a little in an Instagram post, along with some more behind-the-scenes explanations.
Afterwards, all the frames were stitched together by Evans in a stop-motion animation process.
One of the more unique skate edit endeavors we’ve seen in a while, this is definitely worth way more than the three-minutes-and-change from Evans.
