Camp SUP, presented by Salt Life, beckoned paddlers from far and wide to St. Augustine Beach, Florida, for a fun day of board demos, open racing, clinics and entertainment on Saturday.

Standup enthusiasts from as far as Charleston, South Carolina and Jupiter, Florida made the trek to St. Augustine to hang out with pros like Colin McPhillips and emcee Ken Hoeve, as well as participate in the myriad events offered.

"Everyone was super stoked," said event director Scott Desiderio. "It was a fun time and everyone was excited to have SUP magazine in their town."

Brands such as Riviera Paddlesurf, Hobie, Coreban, Mistral, Ocean Extreme Sports, Starboard, Bote, Kaenon, Boga Paddleboards, North Guana Outpost, Ocean Lineage, offered demos to eager enthusiasts, ranging from newbies looking for their first board to experienced paddlers looking to ride the next big thing.

Budding racers took on the small surf to race past St. John's County Pier, yoga luminary Jess Amendola had a crowd of eager yogis in her clinic and later, during a mid-afternoon thunderstorm, everyone gathered to listen to band I-Vibes in the pavilion while enjoying beverages from Kona Brewing Co. All beer donations went to Keepers of the Coast.
