What would a San Diego Supercross be without a visit from Ron Lechien? A key member of the El Cajon Zone in the 1980s, Lechien made a massive impression during the 1983 CMC Supercross at the old Jack Murphy Stadium by winning the main event on a store bought-Pro Circuit built Yamaha 250 at sixteen years old. This one just one of many victories Lechien would score during his career, which included time with the factory teams aboard some of the most incredible motocross bikes ever made.

Now forty nine years old, Lechien makes time to spin a few motos between regular office hours at Maxima Racing Oils and can keep the pace of young talent at tracks in Southern California.
