One of the many events held at the annual Monster Energy Cup is the Supermini class, which features riders aboard modified 85cc machines ranging in age from 12-16. This is a golden opportunity for these kids to not only show the big teams what they’re made of, but it’s a chance for these young riders to experience what it’s like to race under the Saturday night lights in front of thousands of people. We checked in with Yamalube/Star Racing/Yamaha’s newest recruit Matthew LeBlanc – age 13 – prior to the night’s racing to get his take on what some would call the biggest stage in the world for amateur motocross racing.
