Eric Gass, mechanic for Troy Lee Designs/Lucas Oil/Honda, shows us the correct way to change a motorcycle clutch cable in this “How To.” While it may seem like an easy endeavor, there are certain areas that require attention, including the proper routing of the cable around the radiator and the proper amount of freeplay at the lever.

8mm T-handle
#2 Phillips screwdriver
7mm wrench
12mm wrench
A new clutch cable
