2018 ANAHEIM TWO SUPERCROSS | COMPLETE COVERAGE

After a quick trip to Texas, the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross Series returns to Southern California for the third race of the season, the 2018 Anaheim Two Supercross. Sure, we’re only a few weeks into the seventeen-round championship, but there have been plenty of shake-ups in both the 250 and 450 classes in a short period of time. As we come into Anaheim, two pre-season title favorites have suffered shoulder injuries and are far behind their competitors due to missed races. When you factor in that with the other issues that riders in the field are facing, you can see that it’s not easy to make it through every single weekend with a clean bill of health. 26. Alex Martin | Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/KTM rider suffered a fractured clavicle in his 250 Main Event crash at the 2018 Anaheim One Supercross. He will miss Anaheim Two.
62. Justin Cooper | Monster Energy/Yamalube/Star/Yamaha Factory Racing rookie suffered a number of fractured ribs and transverse process, and a concussion in a practice crash in Houston. He will be sidelined for four to six weeks.
75. Noah McConahy | Privateer suffered a small fracture to his femur in a practice crash. He is out for an indefinite period.
170. Michael Leib | IBcorp Racing rider suffered wrist injury in preseason crash. He attempted to race at Anaheim One but pulled out later due to the pain. His return is uncertain.

2018 Houston Supercross | 450 Class Provisional Entry List

3. Eli Tomac | The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider went down in the 450 Main Event and landed on his shoulder, which resulted in a contusion to the area. He pulled out of Houston but is expected to race Anaheim Two.

6. Jeremy Martin | Last part of three-race deal in the 450 class for the GEICO Honda rider.

15. Dean Wilson | Rockstar Energy Racing Husqvarna rider went down in his 450 Heat Race at Anaheim One and suffered a contusion to the shoulder, a strained rotator cuff, bone and muscle bruising, and a sprained wrist. The team will make a decision to race on Friday.

21. Jason Anderson | Rockstar Energy Racing Husqvarna rider leads the 450 championship standings.
22. Chad Reed | Privateer rider suffered ankle injury at 2017 Red Bull Straight Rhythm and despite not being fully recovered, is still racing.
25. Marvin Musquin | Red Bull KTM rider suffered a shoulder injury in a Heat Race crash in Houston. Although the full extent of the damage is unclear, Musquin's status is uncertain for Anaheim Two.
