First off, how are things?
Going good, man! The family is healthy and been keeping busy so I can't complain. Starting the year off with a road trip across the country with Darryl Tocco and Jay Roe was so sick.

You somewhat recently made the move to Texas…how's it treating you? Missing the Fresno area?
Yeah it's been about six months now I moved the whole family out there so my wife could pursue a new job. It's been cool, man! I'll miss Fresno everyday, but once I found a crew of dudes out there to ride with it became chill. Shout out to Haithem, Quintin, Adam, Mike, Brandon, and many other Dallas locals for making the move a good one!

How do you like your bike to feel?
As solid as possible.

Anything new in the works with Kink?
Yeah! I'm actually working on a signature seat with our stealth pivotal system to feel a bit more like a railed saddle. Really excited about that. And maybe helping out on some new pedals. Some cool trips are in the future, as well…

What the hell is up with the two master links? Seems dangerous.
Hahaha dang. I don't know really; one time I went to put a new chain on and it didn't work. I pushed the pin all the way through so I couldn't get my old one back on, haha, so I just threw a master link in it. Hasn't failed me yet!

How do you like running Tony's frame?
I like it. I usually ride the Kink Mudrunner frame, but I still like the feel of a steeper headtube. Tony can ride all terrain and that's what this frame was made for so I dig it!

Did you modify any parts or do anything special?
Big bars feel dope, but they are getting a bit too wide for me so I cut them down to about 28". I also cut my steer tube about 1/2" as well.

Ever think you'll throw on a set of pegs?
As far as filming stuff and leaving them on for good, probably not. But I do put them on a few times a year to mix it up. You have to ride everything or things get stale.

What part (or angle of a part/frame/etc.) are you most particular about one your bike?
Back end length. If it's too short, my bike feels like a scooter. I wouldn't go much shorter than I have now.

What else is really specific to you when it comes to bike setup?
My bars placement has to be spot on. Just a little further forward than the forks, and my pedals have to be a slimmer body. Thick pedals feel like I'm standing on bricks.
