A lot of shoe companies work with riders on developing signature shoes, and Adidas has been working with Haro’s Dave Mirra for a long time.In fact, Adidas is releasing the fourth generation Mirra signature shoe and they just released the first Ryan Nyquist shoe.
The Mirra IV and the Nyquist share the same materials and basic construction, but have different styles. They both have a good tread to grip pedals and the Nyquist even has integrated lace protection. Both shoes feature adiPrene under the heel to absorb shock and a TORSION SYSTEM that supports the mid-foot while allowing natural rotation between the front and back of your foot. What does all that mean? I don’t know, but I do know that Koby Bryant wears Adidas basketball shoes, and Run DMC made a song about theirs, so Adidas must do something right. The Mirra IV carries a suggested retail price of $79.99 and comes in black, white, and zinc. The Nyquist is available in blue, black, and aluminum (gray) at a suggested retail of $74.99.
