Stunting for stunt’s sake. Stunt pilot Melissa Andrzejewski, slackliner Andy Lewis and freestyle motocross rider Jimmy Fitzpatrick teamed up in the Southern California desert for what must be a world first: a plane flying under a slackliner and a motocross rider who is doing a backflip.

As Andrzejewski says, “I’ve got 10-15 feet on either side of the airplane. I’m either going to be hitting metal or my friends. The precision is really really important.”

Slackliner Andy Lewis also just helped pull off an ascending slackline route in Hawaii. So it’s no surprise this crew threw down this stunt without any flaws.
