Get Outside With Like-Minded People This Summer at the Pursuit Series

Offering two weekend events this summer, it's an outdoor adventure camp for grown-ups.

For many of us, summer is the time to get outside and take advantage of warm weather. And this includes partaking in the activities we’ve waited to do all winter long.

Maybe it’s taking up a new hobby or even just getting a few nights camping under the stars. But, whatever your form of outdoor pursuits in the summer looks like, it’s always nice getting to do them with like-minded people.

Which is why Pursuit Series is setting up camp in upstate New York and Northern California this summer for two weekends packed with just that.

Essentially an outdoor adventure camp for grown-ups, Pursuit Series offers a weekend filled with more than 250 activities and classes to enjoy. Instead of camp counselors, campers have expert guides and pro athletes showing them the ropes in introductory to intermediate classes.

Want to take up trail running? Perfect. Or how about getting some tips for hammock camping? There’s a class for that.

All the expert instruction, classes and gear for activities are included in your ticket. Plus, your meals are all included as well. And there will be nightly nightly socials, open bars (for those 21+), fire pits and live music throughout the three-day weekend.

And the best part is that you have the ability to completely customize your activities and schedule for the whole weekend based on your interests. Activities for this year include slacklining, meditation, standup paddleboarding, mountain biking, fly fishing and more. And classes include topics such as night photography, outdoor first-aid, how to pack a backpack and many others.

The New York event takes place June 29 – July 1 at Hunter Mountain, with the Northern California weekend happening Aug. 10 – 12 at Bear Mountain. Ticket options start as low as $75 (plus tax) for an individual camping pass, while a one-day pass runs you $225 (plus tax) and a three-day pass costing $499 (plus tax). And for those looking for more of a glamping experience, don’t worry, those are also available.
