While those of us in the board sports world have known this moment of stardom was a long time coming for Chloe Kim, many people had no idea who she was a couple weeks ago. But now, they are totally smitten with the 17-year-old Olympic gold medal snowboarder.

Earlier this week she made an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and talked about how she felt “really empty at first” after winning gold in Women’s Halfpipe last week at the 2018 Winter Olympics. And she also talked about feeling the need to one-up her first run by taking her final run, despite having already won the gold.

Before the interview Fallon and Kim had pranked unwitting Olympic fans with some photobombs. And what ensued was pretty hilarious.

Kim is obviously a star, and as we said she’s been one in the making for a long time. And by the size of that Kellogg’s Corn Flakes box Fallon reveals to her at the end, her stardom looks to only keep growing.

A gold medal photobomb.
