This week’s ‘World of Adventure‘ takes us to the remote coast of Nova Scotia, Canada, where surfer Meredith Radford braves the frigid waves.

Due to its unpredictable weather, strong winds and remoteness, Nova Scotia makes for an adventurous place to surf.

Radford, a surfer, artist, and Nova Scotia native now living in Maine, tracks the fall hurricanes closely.

“Surfing and art just come naturally,” says Meredith. “I live them both daily.”

As Hurricane Nicole makes its way up the coast, Radford and her family follow, for a trip filled with surf and inspiration for her next work of art.
