Cynthia Replogle is a California surfer girl, but she’s not blond, and she also skates. She moved to the Central Coast after falling in love with a guy who lives there. Cynthia got hooked on surfing since she stood up on a water-logged 10’ foamie and rode a knee-high wave in 2003, during a surf lesson inspired by watching Blue Crush. She has written for The Inertia, Mpora Action Sports, Drift Surfing, and Medium. She volunteers for Surfrider to protect the waves and beaches, and for Pacific Wildlife Care as a bird ambulance driver. Cynthia used to be a rocket scientist and a lawyer, skills she employs writing patents for mechanical inventions.
